Skymaze Treetop Adventure / Playground
Multi-Level Adventure Structure:
The Skymaze is a huge, multi-story play structure that soars above the playground area. It’s designed like a “treehouse village in the sky,” connected with netted bridges, ladders, and slides.Height and Challenge Levels:
The highest platforms offer thrilling views over the surrounding gardens and park grounds. There are various entry points, rope bridges, and climbing areas suitable for older children (usually ages 5 and up), with enough challenge to keep adventurous kids entertained.Safety Nets and Soft Flooring:
The structure is enclosed with high safety netting so kids can explore safely, and the flooring below is soft and impact-absorbing.Additional Features:
Alongside Skymaze, the playground includes slides, climbing walls, tunnels, balance beams, and smaller structures for toddlers, making it suitable for a range of ages.Parental Seating Area:
Plenty of benches and picnic spots are nearby for parents to watch while kids play.

Miniature Train Ride: A Scenic Tour Through the Park
The Miniature Train was a delightful way to rest tired legs while still exploring the park. It offers a gentle, scenic ride past animal enclosures and lush gardens. Our children enjoyed waving at the animals along the route and pointing out their favorites. The train rides run frequently, but lines can form around midday, so buying tickets early is a good idea.

Food and Facilities
The park café offers a nice selection of family-friendly meals and snacks. We tried the homemade sausage rolls and fresh sandwiches, which were tasty and reasonably priced. However, during busy times, there can be quite a queue—expect to wait around 10-15 minutes to order. Seating inside is limited, and in peak season it’s often difficult to find a table indoors. There are some picnic spots around the gardens if you want to bring your own food, but these can fill up quickly during busy periods.
Useful Tips
Arrive Early to get the best playground time before the crowds.
Train Tickets cost a small additional fee but are worth it for a restful break.
Bring Snacks or Enjoy the Café, as Seating inside is limited, and in peak season it’s often difficult to find a table indoors.
Wear Comfortable Shoes as there is quite a bit of walking.

🚗 Parking Information
Free parking is available on-site, located off the A361 near Burford, opposite the Caravan Club Site. The parking lot is spacious and includes designated disabled parking spaces and coach parking areas.
