Seven Sisters is a series of chalk cliffs located on the south coast of England in the county of East Sussex. The cliffs stretch for about 8 kilometres between the towns of Seaford and Eastbourne and are part of the South Downs National Park.

The Seven Sisters cliffs offer breathtaking views of the English Channel and the surrounding countryside, making it a popular destination for hikers, photographers, and tourists. The best view of the Seven Sisters can be seen from Seaford Head, which is located at the western end of the cliffs.

You can hike up the Seven Sisters cliffs from Cuckmere Haven at the west end and follow the walking trail along the cliff top towards the east. Along the way, you will pass through Birling Gap, Belle Tout Lighthouse, and Beachy Head Lighthouse before finally reaching the coastal town of Eastbourne at the east end.

  • Cuckmere Haven: a river estuary that flows into the English Channel and provides stunning views of the cliffs from a different perspective.

  • Birling Gap: a natural sea arch located just to the west of the cliffs There is a rest stop which offers toilets, a restaurant, and a public car park. You can walk down the stairs to the beach below the cliffs here.

  • Belle Tout Lighthouse: When passing through here, you can stop at the tea shop to buy a drink or ice cream, take a break, and continue on your journey.

  • Beachy Head Lighthouse: It is painted in distinctive red and white stripes and stands at 143 feet tall. While visitors cannot enter the lighthouse itself, they can admire its beauty and take stunning photos of it from the surrounding cliffs.
