When visiting Aberystwyth, we usually park our car at North Road Car Park (3 North Rd, Aberystwyth SY23 2HS), although finding a spot here can be challenging at times. From there, you can walk to the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, which offers breathtaking views of the entire bay from its summit. The summit features a cafe and public toilets, as well as several walking trails that are worth exploring if you have the time.

Next, we recommend walking along the coast towards the south, or alternatively driving to St Michael’s car park later in the day (The later it gets, the easier it is to find a parking space). Here, you can explore the Aberystwyth Castle Grounds ruins and have a stunning view of the sea.
